The Partnership Board is made up of members of our Executive Team, alongside representatives from partner organisations (including providers, commissioners, local authorities and third sector organisations), and from regulatory bodies that govern health and social care in England.
The Board’s purpose is to enable partners to work together to reach a number of common goals. As a collective, the Board looks to identify new opportunities where health and care services in Cheshire and Merseyside can work jointly to solve problems which cannot be tackled solely by individual organisations.
It is the Board’s role to ensure the programmes of work it is responsible for funding and overseeing are being delivered on time and to budget. In situations where not enough progress is being made, the Board uses its shared authority to remove any barriers in the system so projects can progress as required.
