All Cheshire West and Chester care home residents now vaccinated against Covid

The Standard, 19th April – All residents living in care homes across Cheshire West and Chester have now been vaccinated against Covid-19. The statistics from Cheshire West and Chester Council for the borough show that 100 per cent of residents and more than 80 per cent of staff members have been vaccinated.

Stress biggest cause for sickness at Cheshire NHS body

Knutsford Guardian, 15th April – More than half of all sick days taken in February by staff at the Cheshire NHS body leading the Covid-19 vaccination programme were down to stress, anxiety, or depression. That’s according to the latest workforce report from NHS Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group, which leads the vaccine roll-out in the county.

Merseyside’s mass vaccine centre reopens appointment booking line

Liverpool Echo, 20th April – Merseyside’s COVID-19 Mass Vaccination Centre has re-opened its appointment booking line following last week’s announcement that anyone over the age of 45 is now eligible for the vaccine. The vaccination centre, at St Helens Rugby Ground, has already vaccinated tens of thousands of people from across the Merseyside and Cheshire region since it first opened its doors on January 18.
