Jobs available to help deliver ‘largest vaccination programme’ in NHS history

Liverpool Echo, 18th December – To vaccinate people as quickly as possible, the NHS across Cheshire and Merseyside are recruiting more staff to work at vaccination sites in a variety of locations.

The jobs on offer will include a mixture of clinical and non-clinical roles, available as fixed term contracts and casual worker agreements, as well as volunteer opportunities.

Cheshire Live, 5th January – Cheshire has received a major boost in the fight against coronavirus following the announcement of new vaccine sites across the county. The region will get 16 new GP-led Covid-19 vaccination sites with the services going live in the first weeks of 2021.

It means many Cheshire residents will now be able to get the vaccine at a number of doctor surgeries and health centres in the Cheshire West and Chester and Cheshire East areas.

Cheshire Public Health chief “pleads” with public to stay home

Nantwich News, 11th January – The Director of Public Health for Cheshire has issued a strong plea to residents to stay home as COVID cases and deaths continue to rise. There are fears the worst is yet to come in the next few weeks, as cases “alarmingly” increase.
