Why are you passionate about health and care across Cheshire and Merseyside?

I remain a Registered Social Worker and promote the values of inclusion and person-centred services that empower the individual. The protection of the vulnerable is something that I stress in all strategic work-particularly the principles of Safeguarding.

What do you do to improve your health and mental wellbeing on a day-to-day basis?

I endeavour to live in the moment whenever possible and focus on the individual or job in hand. I try to give myself the space to work in the context of having a hinterland that brings a sense of balance to life.
