Non-executive member recruitment

Are you passionate about making a positive difference to health and care in Cheshire and Merseyside?

We’re looking for two designate independent non-executive members of the new NHS Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board, which is due to become a statutory body on 1 April 2022.

As an independent non-executive member for an NHS ICB, you will help to shape a long-term, viable plan for the delivery of the functions, duties, and objectives of the ICB, and for the stewardship of public money.

You will bring independent oversight and constructive challenge to the priorities, plans and performance of the ICB executive team, and promote open and transparent decision-making that facilitates consensus.

The roles will have the added remit of Chair of the Audit Committee or Chair of the Remuneration Committee.

To be eligible, you must live within Cheshire and Merseyside or be able to demonstrate strong connections with the area.

We welcome and encourage applications from diverse candidates.

Full details, role specification and application process are online.
